google made the depthcharge dev mode boot screen bright blinding light as punishment
Depthcharge, in a roadside café, while on a road trip with family, late 70s/v early 80s. It cost 20c and lasted almost as many seconds.
took & verified a backup of depthcharge and checked that the chip wasn't write protected so i can flash it back completely fine dont ask me what my issue is

i actually could probably run it off the onboard emmc since im not sure cached media has ever gone above 4gb but apparently depthcharge gets really angry and doesn't let you boot at all if the onboard emmc gets too thrashed, thanks google for your shitty bootloader
