It means frigid weather, horrendous downpour, increased disease and the risk of losing your home because of Hurricanes. *That* is what Fall means for those down in the South and on the East Coast. All that cozy and sweater bullshit is just overromanticized nonsense.
My first SH was Downpour. And while a lot of people didn't really care for it, I came away with just a barest sliver of the pervading sense of dread at the horrors lurking just out of sight
