Only thing I can tell you is that it is water beetle of family Dytiscidae but don't know genus or species.
I’ve been puzzling over this one….it keyed to dytiscidae larvae (water beetle). It’s the right habitat and was deffo in attack mode. It’s abdomen is curled up and over. #freshwater#uknature#coleoptera
