Thanks Elif. My 'very informative video about eclipses & ancient cultures' is an overview. It does not even cover all aspects how solar and lunar eclipses influenced ancient cultures. Here's my Nazca Lines hypothesis. eclipsology.blogspot.com/2009/09/nazc...#Eclipsology#NazcaLines#geoglyphs

A 5 millennia old Irish 'megalithic art' petroglyph of a prehistoric total solar eclipse as the pupil and iris of an 'eye in the sky' aka 'eye of God' carved into Dowth's 'Stone of the Seven Suns'. culturaleclipsology.blogspot.com/2022/12/raye...#Eclipsology

Even at 10% or less, a solar eclipse can be observable to the naked eye at sunrise or sunset, or in cloudy weather conditions where clouds act as natural 'solar filters'. At 90% there are noticeable changes in the quality of light, and it gets quite dark well before totality. #Eclipsology#TSE2024

My Eclipsology research finds that the Nazca Lines biomorph geoglyphs are probably 'Earth art' inspired by seeing the total solar eclipse "eye of God". A total solar eclipse occurred just north of the Nazca Lines before sunset on January 20, 234 BCE. See - xjubier.free.fr/en/site_page...

Regarding the panicked behaviour of some birds during total solar eclipses. If you're a bird flying, and a shadow suddenly falls on you from above, it *could* be a bird of prey seeking to eat you. So you might take evasive action to avoid being eaten. . . #Eclipsology#BirdBehaviour#BirdBehavior

Here's what I said about how human beings responded to solar & lunar eclipses in ancient world, indeed prehistoric world, during the Space Oddities livestream last week. Eclipses had a MUCH greater influence on ancient culture than is commonly known: #Eclipsologywww.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ_f...

What human beings actually did observe during eclipses, and what, if anything, does it mean to 21st century human beings? Introducing the latest product of my not so recent "obsession" with ancient humanity's responses to both solar & lunar eclipses: #Eclipsologywww.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ_f...

Less than two months until the total solar eclipse on 8 April visible from Mexico, the USA, & Canada! So, what about a look back at how eclipses, especially total solar eclipses, but also annular eclipses, & lunar eclipses influenced ancient cultures? #Eclipsologywww.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ_f...
