being able to just download ds/psp emulators on the app store is crazy. i hope apple never decides to crack down on it (or that sideloading exists outside of the EU)

1. There is absolutely no shortage of emulators. Pretty well every good emulator has a Linux version. Some emulators (xemu, dolphin) even run better 2. PC gaming is still not 100% flawless but more things work than don't. Ever since the Steam Deck it's been a whole new world for gaming on Linux.

I've been watching bits and pieces of Linux stuff for a little bit now and I was actually inspired to maybe try Linux after seeing dank pods talk about moving over to Linux him self, if I can still do PC Gaming and using emulators I'm happy.

Classic MacOS had a really good apple iigs emulator. I wonder if classic macOS emulators are good enough to run the apple iigs emulator inside the classic macOS emulator

The emulator is AppleWin which is damn user-friendly as far as retrocomputer emulators go. The IA also has a massive repository of disk images to run on it.

Sadly all the flash files I saved (including early versions of Neil Cicierega's original animutations I downloaded in the early 2000s) are no longer playable. There are some emulators out there but some are pretty sketchy. But for what it's worth the bulk of that old data is uncorrupted enough.

I'd love your hack recommendations btw! I have mine jailbroken so I have access to all 3DS/DS games, but I don't have any other special programs or emulators. I also just got a new battery to replace mine since it really isn't holding a charge very long.

I think it's really weird we still type on "terminal emulators". Like. Bruh it's 2024
