A rather wonderful female Anomalicornia tenuicornis parasitoid wasp of the Encyrtidae found on the shingle at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Thanks are owed to John Noyes for identification. This species is a parasitoid of mealybugs found on grasses. #UKWildlife#wasps#RyeHarbour#entomology

Yes, considering the quality of your photos. Have hatched out many of these, a lot were Metaphycus dispar, some were Microterys seyon - both of the Encyrtidae, and some were Coccophagus obscurus of the Aphelinidae. Good luck!
It is one of the Encyrtidae (which I find difficult). Looks rather like Microterys (possibly tessellatus) but the antennal shading is wrong. That would have one white segment. Also, brown eyes are a bit odd. Is it an old specimen?
