I understand why people are disappointed with Uzumaki’s anime, but it’s not exactly surprising considering Cartoon Network’s pretty piss poor history with the visuals of anime they funded. See The FLCL sequels, The Big O 2, Transformers Armada, etc.

The Internet echo chambers trash the FLCL sequels and I wasn’t a fan of them myself but they all did extremely well in ratings for Toonami and were top sellers on the Apple digital store which is why they kept making more.
