Synthetic materials are distilled from oil, & are related to gasoline! They combust at lover temperatures, so a flashover happens very quickly! This is why firefighters are issued organic clothing; wool will not combust, & keeps them warm even when wet!
a moment of BG3 WTF XDDDD- I got to Waukeen's Rest, and the one guy I bashed the door down to get to him, caused a flashover, tried putting the fire out by throwing water (and forgetting that causes electrocution? wat?) and the guy gets up, goes 'Why did you do that?' and promptly dies A++ game
