There's so much hassle involved with finding a vintage nib in good condition without breaking the bank though. I'm more likely to buy a Nib from Tom's Studio. Either the Titanium Flex or the Extra Fine Gold Semi-Flex Also, a flexy gold nib for $20? Why is everyone else so expensive?

Spent some time writing with my flexy dip nibs to try to get a feel for it. I didn't like the scratchy experience of writing with them, but I loved the expressiveness. I now want a flexy fountain pen nib that's nice and juicy.
My only Leonardo, the Fioritura Viola (endless pens exclusive). It is PURPLE (my favorite color) and SPARKLES. The nib is a scam (was marketed as flexy, it ain't) but it is super smooth and the pen is SO damn pretty I don't even care about the nib. :P It has been my journal pen this month.

I think that’s the one thing about the FPR UF is that they really are very flexy. So I’m sad about FPR, but I’m also okay with not buying from them again too.

Yeah I've never had a shimmer ink clog a medium or a broad (or an italic) but I've had it clog some but not all of my fine nibs and I'm like "BUT A FLEXY NIB DOES NOT FIT INTO ANY OF THOSE BOXES" (It's not a very wet writer so now I am nervous!)
