My mother and granny (her mother in law) used to do blankets that were like one big granny square. Just round and round and round. They changed colour though, so I suppose there were still ends to be tidied up.
I’ve got 3 squares left to make for my latest granny squares blanket, and 160 that need the ends weaving in so I can join them all up 🤪
