Thanks Charlie - re 1: as Declan said in his comment, it's fluctuated so much that it's hard to know (2008 is perhaps a good steady-state, but lots of data don't go back that far). But I think that if you're going to look at what's been happening recently, either 2014-15 or 2018-19 are sensible.

Iām doing the Iron Cardio thing for those reasons, really. Lower intensity, keep the heart rate moderate so aglycolitic, burn some calories without making me too hungry. And get some reps in. The 10k swings got my work capacity up quite a bit tho so itās hard to dial back, if anything!
