WTF you do not just "seek out" someone's medical records without their knowledge and consent. HIPAA is real. Whoever gave the police her medical records should be up to their ears in a legal shitbath.

Yeah, I mean, it would be neat to see some of that info, but I'm pretty sure where I come from and what genetic risks I have (all of them, pretty much) so I was able to resist the temptation. I would do it for a scientific database covered by HIPAA, but not a publicly traded company.
