#RonOWeen#Hereditary, one thing isn't up for debate: Toni Collette's unnerving, tour-de-force performance. It's a career best for her. ALT: More info

The theatrical one sheet and three images from director Ari Aster's 2018 psychological horror film "Hereditary" starring Toni Collette. If this wasn't an indie horror film (which rarely get much respect from Academy voters) she would have been a shoo in for an Oscar nomination. The film itself is sometimes too ponderous for its own good but, when it works, it's a terrifying experience. The supporting cast (including Gabriel Byrne, Ann Dowd, Alex Wolff and Milly Shapiro) is uniformly excellent. Collette is seen in the top right image, Shapiro in the middle right and Wolff in the bottom right. The film is currently #4 on A24's list of all time global box office grosses. Available on digital, Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray. Streaming on HBO/Max.

Also, Magda Lenshirr was a far more suitable mother for the twins than the hereditary witch Robinson wrote, because Magda Lenshirr feared Magneto's ability to destroy so she ran away... ...having a child who destroys things and a child who runs.

I've seen the first two Terrifier films, the Exorcist, Hereditary and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. And none of them give me the creeps like whatever the hell is going on in The Polar Express. Look at this abomination and tell me the universe is just.

Tom Hanks as a poorly rendered train conductor in the Polar Express. And he's got a bunch of elves in Santa hats, red shirts, and green pants behind him. Or maybe they're not elves. Are they children? Something else? Not sure. You won't get me to watch this creepy-as-hell movie.
