Honestly, that was X for me as of last year. One of my draws was local/provincial politics, but every thread was full of the most disgusting, ignorant attacks possible. Trying to thoughtfully engage was demoralizing. It wasn’t heterodox thinking or “challenging”, it was vile harassment and disinfo.
