1. Finally I changed my name in FF XIV to Chills Ahoy (name surname). Now I'm the same across platforms! 2. Resized and reorganised my UI and hotbars again. I think this will work but it's still going to be trial and error.

I dont use duty finder. I live in trusts/duty support. I know these fuckers better than my own hotbars

I agree, they really well done console implementation, I started on PS4 back in the day until I had a computer to run the game properly. My partner and friend also started on console while they were getting better computers squared away. Cross-hotbars are awesome.
Machinist is currently pretty fun but I'm having some difficulty figuring out how to optimize the hotbars All the multitool skills do 600 (with Chainsaw being a line AOE and Excavator being a targeted local) so they're all candidates for Reassemble, I just need to make sure they're easily visible
it's... so much. LOL i almost wanted to close the game after the opening cutscene because i didn't know what to do with all of the hotbars, so i feel you. later on when i got back into it, a friend explained how glamours worked and of course THAT got me committed to playing again 😂
If I remember correctly, the console hotbars were their invention. And they needed it XD
FFXIV seems okay, but it lacks the charm the earlier installments have. The stories seem long and drawn out, and the game didn’t really make me care about the characters much. I don’t want to pay monthly for a watered down FF filled with bad UI, tons of micro transactions, endless hotbars etc
Gonna be playing more Final Fantasy XIV tonight to continue my main story quests! Also tried setting up a controller to see if I fare better with those cross hotbars, it actually reminds me of FF16's abilities, lol. Stream is at 7:00 PM ET!
