Sincere moment from me. I love my parents and miss my dad, but Christ I cannot help ask if local Mike Judge saw me and my dad and made King of the Hill. (I had a buzzcut, and a weirdo playin w/ ventriloquist dolls and yes my dad and the lawn were perfection. Though he was FAA not propane)
It really is draining. I found out there are better avenues to take for success. Doing things irl and showing my art to people I've talked to out and about is a great way, too. I like the irl grind more than online, it's more gratifying
the people i interact with regularly & know i can riff back & forth with. the majority of them are not just consistently funny as hell but they’re also some of the kindest people i’ve enjoyed connecting with online (and would absolutely hang with irl).
Wanna know a surefire way for me to block you? Keep tagging me in other people's skeets. No one on Bsky is guilty of this yet, but I had an IRL ex-friend on Twitter (pre-Elon) who kept doing that shit. Dude would tag me in stuff from folks I followed, including stuff I'd openly retweet.
