When the yellow iris was blooming. This painting comes from a few hours spent at Foggintor quarry in early June. I was lucky to have it mostly just to myself & Jago while I sketched, totally immersed in the place. Very happy to be showing this @dartmoorcollective.org exhibition. Oil on board
