JupyterをVSCode環境にインストールしたハズなのに動かねぇ！と言う事態に直面し頭を抱えていたけども、何か真新しいフォルダを作ってカーネル選択したら普通に動いたのであった。ファイルとかあっちゃダメっぽかった模様。

My computer overheats anyway, but I think having jupyter lab and anaconda running as well as r studio, QGIS, and docker (plus email, slack, chrome, etc.) might not be helping.

I really dislike Jupyter notebooks for anything more than teaching.

You edit in the spreadsheet, and then copy and paste into a Jupyter notebook. An empty line in the spreadsheet means a new cell in the notebook. Google Sheets give you both access control and version control, in a way.

Furthermore, I wish there was a Jupyter notebook-like thing with Desmos that students could use to digitally organize text + calculations + graphs. (there's probably some API nonsense but I'm not about that) www.desmos.com/calculator/s...#ITeachPhysics
