New #kindnessrocks to drop. This is me experimenting with cosmetic grade mica powder on craft glue, then sealed, as a cheap guilding. The raised design is very appealing to me, so I’ll be exploring this more.

Cultivating kindness!🫶 Neighbours with a preschooler created this "Kindness Rocks Garden" filled with rocks, many of which were painted and/or had messages on them. Passersby were invited to take a rock or pass it along, or leave a rock. Couldn't resist and brought one home to my garden!😊🌱

The letters, Kindness Rocks Garden, are in different colours on a wooden sign painted pink with a couple of daisies on it and a red heart. Underneath the name of the garden are the following instructions: "Take one for inspiration, share one for motivation, or leave one to help our garden grow!" The sign, attached to a flat wooden post also painted pink, has the following inscription: "We paint our town with kindness." A red heart is drawn underneath the inscription. In the colourful wooden 'garden' box, painted purple, yellow, and two shades of blude are numerous decorated stones as well as stones awaiting decoration and/or inscription. One of the painted stones in the bottom right has the following inscription: "Stand close to people who feel like sunshine."

This is the rock I brought home to my garden. It is painted black and has the follwowing inscription, "Never stop looking up." Numerous little white stars are painted above the inscription . The rock is placed between some creeping juniper and what PictureThis! identifies as bird's-eye pearlwort, an annual, but this is a perennial that I never planted (would appreciate any suggestions on identification). In the top right is the edge of a much larger rock called pudding stone, a congomerate of pebbles, some of which include rusty red jasper.
