"#RDC: Une nuit de terreur à la prison centrale de Makala en RDC, où des détenus ont tenté de s'échapper de leurs pavillons bondés, provoquant une panique générale. Les tirs ont éclaté, et dans la confusion, des détenus ont été étouffés par d’autres. Les images de cette scène sont poignantes et montrent l'ampleur de la tragédie. 129 décès par balle et par étouffement, bilan officiel et provisoire des événements de dimanche à lundi."

"Hello everyone,

Starting today we'll be adding a new initiative 'Hand in Hand' where we regularly boost the three families in need we have adopted from Palestine and Sudan.

Starting with our dear friend Ahmed. He has carried our projects on the ground and helped us at the cost of his own life.

(Donation link on post)

Please read his story and contribute to his campaign with what you can. Share with your friends and family and help bring him more donations"

"Hand in hand

Join the initiative to amplify our adopted fundraising campaigns by engaging and donating generously, as we share their stories with you."

"Ahmed Al-Khout is a 30 year old Software engineering graduate with his own design and gift shop.
He is also happily engaged and had his whole life ahead of him until the genocide took it all away.
But, it didn't take away his dreams and resilience. His gift shop is destroyed but not his determination to build it all up from scratch again.
His gift shop is destroyed but he has given his community the gift of his solidarity the last ten months to ease the pain of the genocide.
He has worked day and night, putting his own life at risk for the past months, to help his people. Giving it back to him with the donations to rebuild his gift shop is the least we could do as we cheer him on in his endeavors.
