They also don't drop a son name suffix to be informal--if you do that, you're just calling them by their parent's name. Instead, you can drop that name. Like, if Lyla calls her sister's kid 'A instead of Thali'a (if that's what they were currently using), everyone knows which kid she's talking about

For identifying by clan, quick name styling's just "[name] of [sub-clan] of [great-clan]" For Lyla, "Lyla Sulaej of the Nightbloom of the Silver Crescent" (or even just "of the Silver Crescent Nightbloom") To be more formal, it'd be "of the Nightbloom Clan of the Great-Clan of the Silver Crescent"

Lyla's clan uses beeswax for crafting cerecloth & to Lyla, their beekeepers' robes resemble cerements to symbolize their roles in the cycle of life & death

Nothing's a 1:1 equivalent. Stuff varies by clan & location (for example, neutral sect's equivalent is called selenelion by the G & T Tribes up in the mountains), but Lyla sees similarities in the Shroud/Coerthas/Abalathia styles & Sharlayan's (& records by different clans can be found in Sharlayan)
