FWIW I think the govt wd make more money reforming Inheritance Tax. Unlike Capital Gains there is no choice around when you die. Lots of loopholes to close.

Where to start 😂! Survival is base point. To earn the money to pay the bills & hopefully enable a lifestyle you want for self & family. A very strong motivator!! Next I'd say personal motivation, pride, sense of achievement. That comes from doing your best in whatever job you have - keeps you going
