Might be worth a direct approach to Lenovo. Legally JBHiFi should handle faults but we found, first with the oven, then the HWS, that the vendors don't even bother to return calls or make any effort. The manufacturers were quick and effective in both cases, once we'd given up on the Good Guys.

no. you need to know how many continuous watts the amplifier can supply without burning *itself* to a crisp. these are often given as values of watts rms, but good manufacturers will simply state continuous power and list a number of watts.

The likely actual reason for the bans: Lobbying from the auto manufacturers viewing them as a threat to their oversized and overpriced trucks (maybe you should make the original Ford Ranger and Chevy S-10 again...), as well as the ATV industry and such.

In that particular industry, the manufacturers (largely a handful of companies headquartered in Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and the U.S.) directly employ the people who install or service them, so you negotiate with a local trade association of mega-companies.

I’m so glad! You know that rice manufacturers & the health department have an “acceptable” limit of certain…um…shall we say “biological elements”…in bagged rice. Rice should always be thoroughly rinsed.
