Spending the weekend going through my photos from Manchester last week and starting to work up some stuff including these from @McrMuseum (some from specimens, some from fab old diagrams on display. But blimey - basket stars are complicated
These portraits of Egyptian dead at @McrMuseum always astonish me. I remember being taught in art class at school that such work didn’t really exist until the Renaissance. Clearly we so often shape our history into such narrow viewpoints.
