I’m 28 books behind my 2024 reading goals and this is why. Even my beloved fav genre (graphic novel memoirs) are longer. Not mad just an observation.

Pie chart showing 75% of my reads this year are non fiction and 25% are fiction… (So far)

Today’s Telegraph reviews page gives Johnson’s memoirs five stars. Not a criticism of him in the article. What sycophantic drivel.

That’s another problem Wrestling fans are bizarrely better at that (lots of trashy wrestler memoirs)

There are quite a few. For memoirs/diaries, Denis Healey, Chris Mullin and Alan Clarke are the ones that I probably enjoyed most. In terms of biographies, Jenkins on Churchill, Bew on Attlee, Pimlott on Wilson and Young on Thatcher are probably the best I've read.

It's the memoirs of an fbi agent that went undercover in the ethno nationalist movements in the US. He recounts the structure and how they carry out their actions. Solid book. Was made into a movie with daniel radcliff as the agent.

At first I thought this was a reference to the memoirs of recent British Prime Ministers!
