4 years since a madman full of hatred killed 23 people. The worst mass shooting in Canadian History. Emily was just 17 years old. R.I.P. #NOVASCOTIASTRONGyoutu.be/TWW34utdG3g?...
“Hey Emily” is an amazing tribute written and performed by Jeff Bonang. Jeff has written many songs in his career and was motivated to write “Hey Emily” after watching a very emotional news cast online. The story described the mass shooting that took place in Nova Scotia April 18 & 19, 2020 beginning in Portapique where 23 people (including an un-born child) were shot and killed. Emily and her family were 3 of the 23 people. Jeff was so emotionally upset after watching this news story that he felt the need to write this beautiful tribute/song. Jeff was joined by many fellow musicians that shared in his emotions and who all contributed their time, including Hamblen Productions to make this tribute a reality. A Roger Hamblen Production
