It will be good to see Tom and Gearoid again. They organised the #OER24 conference brilliantly.

Picture of an open book, with text on one side and a picture of two short elves wearing green, and blue hats with red feathers, dancing a jig. The text reads,"Members of the organising committee, and the organisation staff are rightly proud of the events they have organised. To make it easier for delegates to spot them, they often wear different coloured badges or lanyards. If you see a member of the conference team dressed like this, you can ask them anything. Or just walk away. Quietly."

On March 27, 2024 I had the great privilege of giving the opening keynote address at the #OER24rajivjhangiani.com/betwixt-fair...

A sketchnote of a talk by Visual Thinkery, with the title and author in a cloud in the centre. The title is Betwixt fairy tales & dystopian futures and the author is Rajiv Jhangiani.

I find my experiences w/Open practitioners generally to be interesting lenses w/which to think about knowledge production, and the relationships that do (and don't) lead to open communication. Not to mention what is "open" anyway. We end on some of those q's here digitalispeople.org/oer24-in-the...
