Is there any indication of how Trump would handle 207(k) overtime? I guess he just let police and fire fighters assume they get the same treatment as people on a 40/hr week schedule (setting aside for the moment the Project 2025 proposal for overtime smoothing over a month)
Now that being said, the other thing that I’ve heard is the no tax on overtime thing. That played extremely well, again with the rank and file. Every department is short staffed post Covid and a lot of schedules have mandatory time built into them.

Not entirely normal, but close. I could work full time but no more regular overtime. Could hike and bicycle a bit, and had some reserves for emergencies. The PEM symptoms were pretty typical.
Just keep reminding working class voters what he said about ending overtime. Again and again and again. That should do it. No blue collar worker wants to give up the opportunity to earn time-and-half pay. Nobody.
