Growing up, I remember abortion arguments always revolving around the individual choice, which makes sense because it allows male supremacists to misdirect from what it’s really about: Pregnancy autonomy is a necessary good and any society that violates that autonomy is cruelly oppressive.
Spend a few months on a pregnancy forum and you are statistically certain to encounter someone posting questions from within an obviously abusive and escalating relationship. Those spaces—where people recognize the danger and can tell people to run—save lives.
