Passkeys are, frankly, great. If you’re sick of annoying MFA (or even just username+passwords…), passkeys are absolutely a game changer. Too bad only like 15 of the 692 accounts in my password manager support them… but that is a solveable problem over time.

If you don’t know device flow: it allows you login to an input constrained device (switch) using a secondary that has a better input method (my phone) And since the passwords I have left (shout out to passkeys) are all in a password manager I could just follow the prompts 🥰

my favorite thing about passkeys is that absolutely nobody can agree on how they should actually work i've tried to use bitwarden with yandex but apparently they require some hardware store and to the user it appears like nothing is working for no reason
