"All That Remains" A few from this morning. I was gutted to find that a wonderful dead tree next to this old barn has fallen. The comp I had in mind hung off the tree, so it was hard to mentally reset. The conditions were gorgeous though. Couldn't have asked for better. #PeakDistrict#Photography

Sunrise at the remains of an old barn in the peak district. A cloud inversion is filling the valley in the background and the high clouds are vibrant pink.

Day 4. The night had been a cold one, but my new down quilt kept me warm and cosy. We all packed together and so most of us walked through the wooded valley to get to Sheffield and home. #PeakDistrict#hiking

Day 3. The weather was getting progressively better as we made our way along Stanage Edge. We dropped off at Stanage End and made our way to Moscar on the way to the Rivelin Valley and our next campsite #PeakDistrict#hiking

But I wasn’t going to see anything from Win Hill so I dropped into an atmospheric woodland to get to Ladybower Reservoir #PeakDistrict#hiking

No problems crossing Jaggers Clough and so I made my way on the Roman road and passed by Hope Cross. #PeakDistrict#hiking

Hope Cross (the cross disappeared ages ago).
