I’m no expert in Japanese history, though I have read Genji, Heike, Pillowbook and some other classics and pre/post-war literature, but damn, place is crawling with dudes who “studied the blade.”
Omg I had a copy published by Carroll and Graff in the 80s that was like a pillowbook with period engravings and shit. Dude that’s why they laugh when we say fanny pack! You have to specify front fanny or back fanny to differentiate.
