Which is funny, because podman used varlink, RH canned development of varlink and they replaced it with REST. Now systemd wanna follow suit instead

2024-09-30の結論としては、現在のStorybookはnpmへの依存がハードコーディングされており、開発時はdockerやpodmanなどで、必要に応じて使えるようにしておくのが良いのではないか。という感じ。 また、違うタイミングで試したら、違う結果になるかもしれない。

今日は半日、WindowsへPodman入れようとしてうまくいかず、あきらめてdockerにしようとしたが、それもうまくいかなかった。

@bnewbold.net Varlink was also used in early Podman iterations, but it never really seemed to catch on. I wonder how something like it would work with Bubblewrap/Flatpak sandboxing ...

@rolle try out podman-desktop with the ai feature on. It gives you list of models to run on your laptop. Like the open granite models. Also creates the open ai api based chat interface. Perhaps one of those would do it?
