This is a fun thread about a fun pair of albums that only exist because Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp went "We kinda wanna make a pirate album OUR way" to Disney after PoTC got big, but Disney went "Sure as long as it's family friendly!" and then there was just this noise like "uuuuuuuhhhhh..."

POTC Lego has been discontinued, unfortunately. There is still Pirate Lego but, not quite the same... Star Wars Lego demands a premium (Disney wants their cut)...this also applies to any licensed franchises. The best, bang for the buck, is Lego Creator 3 in 1 kits. Speaking from experience...
