I was prescribed a medication at a dose that requires prior authorization, it has been sitting "pending" at my pharmacy for days. Insurance knew about this, did not contact me or the prescribing physician until I called to ask what the problem was. Cool!

PDMP programs have been a catastrophic failure. More importantly, why track the patients? Track the physicians prescribing the medications? It's a smaller group, easy to monitor through pharmacy scripts, and doesn't violate privacy rights of individuals. PDMP opened the door for gov't surveillance.

You just need some form of pharmacy label -- if the blister packs are labeled by the pharmacy it's okay. I'd try asking the pharmacy what they can do to give you some form of label that contains the required elements (drug name, prescription #, pharmacy name, and prescribing doctor, in most states)

I managed to get another doctor in California to keep prescribing me the same thing (long story) I have never managed to get a letter from a gender therapist/psychologist/sexologist. I wasted several thousand dollars when I tried (long story) I don't have GID because I wear pants instead of a skirt
