I don't think they really understood the whole picture but yeah he was proud of being a fascist and ran on it. This was before people really knew the effects of fascism but he was pretty straight up about marrying the state and industry. I believe he's the one who defined fascism that way.
It'd be interesting to have a blind poll of players to see which coaches they feel are most effective and least effective. Doubt it can/would be done but it'd be interesting. If I ran a ML team you bet I'd check with players on that & keep track of which coaches spend the most time with each player.
My excellent state senator lost by 37 votes when they ran a fake candidate w the same last name. Artiles bragged about his role in the scheme on election night in a bar IIRC. Glad to see a jury reject that assumption of impunity. The illegitimate GOP senator Garcia still holds the seat, though.
