I just rediscovered this early draft of the artwork for my second album People and Industry. This one was rather influenced (i.e. nicked from) the opening titles of The Good Life, but I stuck with the blue and yellow theme because of Warrington RLFC.

In 1914, Coventry RLFC, already struggling, having dropped out of the league the year before, played Leeds. They lost 104-0. World War 1 then broke out, and they did not play again until 1998. Rather charmingly, they've just released a commemorative jersey about it. #rugbyleague
