Date code says it's from 95, not 93. 😝 I am however surprised it's still working, I have not had luck with *any* vintage laptop drives. I have however had luck with a lot of 3.5" drives though. (No luck with MFM however if I go further back, including most RLL drives as well.)
man I pretty much don't do a con anymore unless we can deal at it. on one hand it's nice to have something to do (I get rll bored at cons) but being dead tired at 9 pm kinda blows

With a prospective move to JHR off the table, and Sting Ray Robb tipped to return to DCR, Devlin DeFrancesco joining RLL to drive the No. 45 makes a lot of sense to me. The No. 30 is a bit more elusive, and might depend on whether Hy-Vee sticks or twists. I reckon Bobby Rahal fancies Jüri Vips...
