#ReggieCat is no longer with us. They have moved on to the cat tree in the sky where they can watch birds and have all the kibble and pets they want. They passed on with us petting them and with their favorite mousie. You’ve been a good cat, Reggie.

I have to admit that it's heartbreaking watching #ReggieCat drool after oral administration. Like, Reggie, just drink some water or eat some food to get the taste out of your mouth!

#ReggieCat is hanging in there. They are smart enough to hold their jaw shut, turn their head away, and push the syringe out of their mouth when we give them pain meds. No shame. The meds smell horrible and they must taste horrible, too.

UPDATE: #ReggieCat is still with us! They are weak but eating and drinking when they can. So much love for this little kitty! Our time is short so we're cherishing every moment.

Brought out a towel since we planned to throw a pot. #ReggieCat recognized the towel as the vet towel and hissed.

Every time, #ReggieCat takes a deep breath and yells with their whole meowing chest.

#ReggieCat is going to the vet today. The vet recommends gabapentin to assuage Reggie's doc anxiety. We've been happy to comply but Reggie is too smart for us. Reggie just holds the pill in their mouth until they are released and then they spit it out. I get it but I'm so tired.

#ReggieCat is confused as to why I won't let them lick my hair this time. It's because there's PRODUCT in my hair and it's not good for kitties.
