@writerethink Kinda same The big kicker for me was the year we went just before my son was born and I saw two bloggers I knew and went to say hi and they just completely ignored me :( The worst part though, is that rhinebeck was a big ’thing’ for my partner and I, we literally went every […]
I used to feel sad about not being at Rhinebeck (NY Sheep & Wool) when I'd see all the photos of folks there, but I'm just...not, anymore. Some of that, I think, is just realizing that I never really was part of the communities I thought I was, which the Ravelry shitshow a few years ago drove […]
my buttons came in the mail today because, like, of course they would arrive the day after i get back home from rhinebeck. but ohhh they're so nice, i am not the least bit bothered, just really stoked to sew these on!

Went to Rhinebeck this year. Planned to buy *for the year* from the booth that doesn't have an online shop. 3 am this morning HolyFuckISpentMyWholePaycheckOnYarn
Seeing a friend post their Rhinebeck haul made me realize I missed the local fiber festival! I knew I was supposed to be doing something awesome yesterday. Sure, I still haven't used my yarn I got last time I went, but that doesn't mean I can't get more!
