We had a twofer: Apple just released MacOS 15, and previous versions of RStudio Desktop don't work on it, either. 😔 The latest version of RStudio works on it--fortunately the problem was caught in time, as MacOS 15 and RStudio 2024.09 were released within days of each other.

100% this. The complexity of Docker and git are huge roadblocks for people adopting a lot of these practices. Things like git integration in Rstudio help a lot for making it easier. I haven’t seen anything like that for Docker though.
