Retired SAS Assegaai (S99) of the #SANavy has arrived at her new home at Cole Point, outside Simon's Town Naval Base (Cape Town) today! Standby, S99 Submarine Museum is surfacing soon. Bravo Zulu to the entire team. 👏

The #SANavy is celebrating World Hydrographic Day at Table Bay Harbour (Cape Town) today with lectures and ship tours for invited guests. Frigate SAS Amatola and MMIPV SAS King Shaka Zulu are in attendance.

However, instead of patrolling our maritime border, the #SANavy has deemed it important that frigate SAS Amatola be speedily made seaworthy for a trip to Russia in July and replenishment vessel SAS Drakensberg to sail to Cuba later in the year. /5
