Disagree. CP started dying before the Sevens peaked. It became party street. Before that it was a neighbourhood. Like dairying in Canterbury, fools followed the easy money and were burned when it disappeared. Landlords and banks contributed!
Courtenay Place has been dying for a very long time. It started around the same time the sevens started dying and they shifted it to Hamilton. When the alcohol prices increased everyone started preloading. It's not the cycleways fault.
