They are very tricky to see with the naked eye. Very faint. The roommate used an iPhone 15 Max, shooting in night mode, and on a tripod for good measure. A clearish view North or North East is necessary too. Not sure if New Westminster would give you the best view. Maybe SFU?

I’m at Café Zuzu. As I was waiting to order, a person I didn’t know who was just on the way out asked me if I was an editor. “Yes,” I said. “I’ve seen your videos on YouTube,” she said, and explained that her instructor at SFU had shared them.
