#SQLBits was once hosted close to a famous provider of cheesy chips in Newport. Luckily I can get most of the Sunday roast ingredients here in the Netherlands. It can be a challenge during Christmas time though as family members here expect me to cook a Dickens-style Christmas dinner.

Back at work after an amazing #SQLBits! First year as a runner this year, and I've discovered new exciting pains, but had a brilliant time helping out. Especially enjoyed "Anyone can be an alphabet soup ally" by Linda Torrång and Jess Pomfret, and was super impressed with the non-technical talks!

Conferences like #SQLbits reminds me I really am an extraverted person. I love interacting with so many people, and being able to have real conversations with them.

Boarded my flight back to Norway. After a great week at SQLBits presenting two sessions and manning the Ask the Expert table as well as volunteering I am looking forward to relaxing at my cabin in the mountains with the family. Was wonderful to see all my #sqlfamily friends and hang out.

Aaaaand I'm on my way home from an amazing #SQLbits 4 trains, 2 tubes to go! But waiting in the sun at a quiet station is a lovely start
