I've spent the last 3-4 months reading everything Robin Hobb has written, w the exception of the Megan Lindholm stuff, and I just finished the last book this morning. When I say I wept, I mean I spent the entire morning weeping, because it's over. I feel something akin to real grief over it. I think it's ruined me for all else. What comes close to it? Hundreds of people left standing on the platform at WTC because they could not physically fit in the train it was so crowded. Next train to Newark? 40 mins away. And PATH thinks the answer is to cut weekend service on the other line to 33rd Street in half! Brainless.
