I'm thrilled to have two new intergalactic traveler poems in Salvation South this week. @salvationsouth.bsky.socialwww.salvationsouth.com/aliens-in-am...
Sometimes, the only way to see our world clearly is through the eyes of an intergalactic traveler.
I am certainly worried, but my instinct here is that while a ground operation in Lebanon is likely (and will suck) a larger regional conflagration is not. Neither Salvation nor Armageddon, but much the same very bad status quo seems to me likely to hold.

I recall in that region all religious infrastructure was called a church even when it definitely was not. The sort of place where other religions were barely tolerated and only so long as they put Xian beliefs front and center (one god, one truth, salvation etc).
“Orthodox” Presbyterians believe God doesn’t just pick who will receive salvation, but also affirmatively damns who gets eternal punishment. Carrying out the sovereignty/omnipotence of God to a logical conclusion that God chose the bad stuff in life too, actually, nothing we can do about it.
Thinking about Wicca, I think the most depressing thing is seeing covens describe Wicca as offering salvation. Salvation from what, exactly? I don't know if this is a legal thing or a Southern thing (GA in this case) but it was creepy how much covens tried to emulate and call themselves churches.
como pode o pain of salvation né que eu odeio tudo após o be
