One would behold this tense prelude to pain that the Indomitable Knave is about to experience, arrogantly in respite while in the middle of a Hunt for a Horneye Behemoth that's about to demolish his one high ground and pummel him relentlessly. But in the goblinoid's mind, he is hyper aware of the present moment and is already confident that his luck will make him thrive and survive the coming charge of the fiend, even if the endurance of torturous mutilation is inevitable, he wouldn't have it any other way. His Sanguine mutations shall regrow any natural wounding that comes out of this chosen lifestyle, which determines his hunting style, one of deceptively relaxed disposition against the dangers that Demons bring forth.
The Indomitable Knave embodies the intrepidity of Goblin's Guile, an attribute given to Grotesque Demons that crave carrion and scavenge the wastes opportunistically, biding their time with skulking tactics before pouncing ruthlessly upon their exhausted prey. Unburdened by his accumulation of fortune, he is the luckiest Belial mutant in all of Dismalia, always seeking to increase his charm by cutting off the most peculiar parts of Demons and taking them to his most trusted hexers. The incantations imbuing all of his gnarly talismans absorb the luck out of other beings, Demons and kindred alike, thus making Vrak a being hard to kill but one that attracts suffering and death wherever he trails. He has nothing in his past weighting him, for he exists exclusively in the present. He disregards the future because the moment is the most enriching essence of life, passionately empowered by a reckless impulse to break through any limiters that would make other Hunters doubt and stumble. Vrak Deadhand's past is a mystery, one that he never cared about unfolding and would rather carve his own destiny.
