For a moment, I thought it was something from the Shalka Doctor. Kind of has the same feel as the animation style!

How have I only just found out that Richard E Grant actually came into the studio for that Shalka Doctor cameo in Rogue?

Me and my wife are still lost in the Wilderness Years of our slow #DoctorWho marathon. Over recent week's we've delved into some of the BBCi webcasts. The very non-canon but wonderful "Death Comes to Time," and the apparently now canon "Scream of the Shalka."

The CD cover for Doctor Who: Death Comes to Time.
The DVD cover for Doctor Who: Scream of the Shalka.

If we can have Richard E Grant’s Doctor cameo in a list of the Doctor’s faces can we also have one or two of the movie Daleks cameo in the background in the next Dalek reunion episode (ex: “Asylum of the Daleks,” “The Witch’s Familiar”)

A collection of the Doctor’s previous faces from the episode “Rogue,” featuring Richard E Grant’s alternative Ninth Doctor from “Scream of the Shalka”
An army of Daleks from the non-canon “Dr. Who and the Daleks” movie

So I heard Scream of the Shalka might be canon now? #DoctorWho

The Shalka doctor stands at the front, adjusting his coat with both hands. To the right is the Android version of the Master looking quite fed up of the Doctor next to him. Above both of them is Allison looking ready for action. To the right of her is the Shalka Prime cloaked in shadow and to the left of her is the TARDIS traveling through the vortex.
