oooh. these might be the wrong kind for roasting (they're skinny like shishitos but hot like jalapenos), but a peppers-and-cream sauce is an idea. I also have more corn (lol) and cilantro, and tomatillos! so there might be salsa in my future

Today's #ShittyGardener harvest: ·last cuke of the season (thank you for your service) ·3 tiny winecaps. Last time I waited for them to size up, they were ravaged by our resident raccoon or squirrel. ·enough green beans to make an actual dish with! ·the few tomatoes that didn't split in the rain

Whoa! These shishitos!!! 🔥 Listed as Japanese peppers at the Oriental store - and wow these are the hottest shishitos I've had - and all of them are spicy wut! Lip burning and a long lingering sharp heat! Yikes. Is there something up with *all* of them being so hot!?
